I used GreatStuff foam to build up the scene to look like a hole in the ground

I used a standard 5' skeleton and dislocated the jaw for effect.

I placed black plastic trash bags and used a heat gun to melt them over the skeleton - this gives it a decayed flesh effect.

I spray painted the entire skeleton black and then dry-brushed over it with brown, rust, and a bit of red colors, leaving the recesses black.

After acheiving the desired affect, I fine tuned the cream drybrushing to blend it a bit so that it looked more realistic.
